A Fantastic Innovative Kitchen Saver!

The DMT Crystal Saver is well built like the rest of the DMT product lines. The diamond coated bar is of the highest premium grade materials and construction with a beautiful silver look. The handle fits in the hand secure and comfortably - making it easy to work with. The handle's clear crystal-like style is simple elegance which will fit any kitchen decor.

Function - Wow! As I expected, the DMT diamond bar cut through hard ceramic material quickly but with full control. I had purchased a wonderful handmade Japanese sushi plate, that had an uneven bottom edge. I decided to first test this new tool on my sushi plate. This plate is one of my favorites used in the lab here at Casanova's. The Crystal Saver quickly cut through the ceramic material but left a soft surface behind without filing marks! I used the flat side of the 4" long half-round bar to reach across the bottom edges of the plate and was able to level them. I was able to soften the bottom edge as well with no problem and fast. I was able to fix the wobbly sushi plate in about 3 to 4 minutes with it looking new and no sign of any filing, sanding or grinding! fantastic!!

I next took a quality wine glass and was able to remove small chips in seconds - leaving behind a smooth edge with little effort. Outstanding! This is the first time I have ever tried to remove chips from glass edges. Before I would have simply thrown the glasses out for safety reasons and lack of know-how to repair the edges without needing a glass working tool bench!
