Our Aerohead wheelset competes with the most expensive wheels on the market at a fraction of the price and it features the race proven Aerohead rim. It comes with black double-butted spokes and our black sealed cartridge bearing hubs. The rear wheel is built with our new Aerohead OC rim.

  Velocity Veloplug

Ultra-Performance Rim Accessory - Spoke Termination Caps

The Veloplug is an amazing new innovation in rim technology with international patents pending.  Why wrap a rim with a roll of heavy cloth tape when for less than half the weight, Veloplugs do the job and better!

Tape = 16grams, or, 32 Veloplugs = 6 grams?

Fewer Spokes? ---- Then The Weight Savings Is Greater!

Incredible blow out strength and takes well over 400psi.  Tires start to fail long before the Veloplug.

Tire mounting is easier with the Veloplug.  Rim strips take up a lot of space making tires more difficult to mount. With the sleek and slippery Veloplug, a difficult to mount tire becomes easy.

Spoke replacement is simplified as there is no need to remove a sticky strip. Just pop out the Veloplug over the offending spoke and pop it back in when repairs are complete. They can be used over and over.
The Veloplug fits any rim with a nominal 8mm web hole. This covers most of the Velocity range as well as many ‘Brand X’ rims.

Sold in packets of 72 for retails sales or in bulk packs of 1000 for shop use.
