a bright, clear image at the 10x power
magnification setting, and with a flick of
the hand, provides 3-D telescopic viewing. The 15x power is that of telescopic
magnification. The advantage of the binocular
design is the two eye viewing; Stereoscopic 3-D
Viewing.
With this dual
magnification design, the 10x magnification offers
an overview of an area, and short distance detail
viewing, whereas the 15x magnification
offers longer distance viewing and closer detail
viewing when required.
The discussion of the "right" magnification of a
binocular is endless. The optimal magnification
does not depend on the numbers, but on the

10x is hard to
hold still, and the 15x are impossible to hold
steady. The power factor also magnifies our own
body movement due to our heart pressure pumping
blood. When using powers higher than 8x, one
should use a binocular mount or a tripod with a
binocular tripod mount adapter.
