Pedometer Use

Before Using A Pedometer Instrument, The User's Accurate Stripe Length, And Weight, Must Be Entered Into The Pedometer.   Accurate Measurement Of This Data, Will Achieve Precise, Individual Results.

  • Measure Your Stride Length:
  1. Walk or run twelve steps, marking the spot at the beginning of your first step.
  2. Measure the distance traveled, in meters or feet, from the beginning of your first step to the end of your last step.
  3. Calculate your single stride length by dividing the total distance measured by twelve.

Example: For a total distance measurement of 384 inches, the single stride length is: 387 inches divided by 12 equals = 32.25 inches.

  1. Round off your single stride length measurement to the nearest centimeter or inch. In this case.

 

  • Measure Your Weight:
  1. Using a good quality floor scale, determine your weight in kilograms or pounds. Be sure to remove your shoes and excessive clothing.

 

  • Positioning Is Very important.
