ALL-Sport SealSkinz
ALL-Season SEALSKINZ?
Waterproof socks have established a new standard for seamless comfort
and performance. This waterproof sock is more flexible, more comfortable
and a better fit than other waterproof sock. DuPont guaranteed this sock
to keep feet dry. The All-Season SEALSKINZ? socks are available in
tundra or black colors.
OVER-The-Calf
SealSkinz
Socks
provide a new level of waterproof protection - coverage almost up to the
knee. The socks feature a cuff made of nylon/LYCRA?
spandex that keeps them from
sliding down and losing their shape. The Over-The-Calf SEALSKINZ? are
available in black only.
ALL-Sport Sock
SealSkinz
The Newest
addition to the line. SEALSKINZ? ALL-Sport Socks provide waterproof
protection up to the ankle against surface moisture like morning dew,
puddles and low-lying wet areas. Utilizing the same technology as
original SEALSKINZ? socks, the ALL-Sport SEALSKINZ? uses a
stain-resistant acrylic fiber for it's outer layer. ALL-Sport
SEALSKINZ? socks are available in two lengths; ankle length
(quarter-length) and a crew length which has a ribbed cuff. Both styles
are an ideal choice for all kinds of outdoor activities and more casual
pursuits, including walking, running, golfing, gardening and more.
TECHNOLOGY
SEALSKINZ?
waterproof socks use moisture vapor transpiration
(MVT) technology to keep feet dry and comfortable. This innovation was
pioneered to keep feet dry and comfortable. This innovation was
pioneered by DuPont, a leader in fabric technology for high-performance active
wear.
The thin, lightweight,
three-layer construction of SEALSKINZ? is the key to it's waterproof
system. The sock combines three components:
-
DuPont
THERMASTAT? or COOLMAX? inner layer. This inner layer transports
moisture away from the foot and disperses it throughout the sock,
spreading moisture thought the entire
surface area of the sock. This allows the moisture to escape more
quickly and efficiently thought the
membrane.
-
Middle layer -
features a vapor-permeable membrane which allows perspiration
to escape, while preventing water from entering.
-
Outer Layer - A
Nylon outer layer is utilized for abrasion resistance. The Dupont
LYCRA? spandex cuff ensures socks will stay up despite the toughest
conditions. The SEALSKINZ? ALL-Sport version uses a stain-resistant
acrylic outer layer in place of nylon, which keeps the socks looking
newer, longer.
-
The hallmark of
SEALSKINZ? socks is their seamless design. There are no abrasive
seams to cause blisters or other irritations. SEALSKINZ? socks
perform best when worn over a COOLMAX? liner sock ( or any
non-cotton liner sock), which further enhances comfort and moisture
dispersion.
