Teko socks are also sent to independent laboratories to test the color fastness, shrinkage, pilling, and other key characteristics.

After several washings, the socks are still amazingly soft, durable, and guaranteed not to itch or shrink.

Technically advanced designs provide all of the comfort in all the right places.  Combining fine yarns from around the planet with high-performance features results in a sock that hugs a foot.

Teko has replaced the nylon used as the skeletal fiber in most socks with Ecopoly recycled polyester, which keeps feet drier due to better moisture transfer.  In order to maintain performance standards, they had to cover the Lycra with nylon.  This gives the socks the necessary fiber rebound while using the minimal amount of nylon. They are working hard to be able to use Ecopoly covered Lycra and hope to have it in Teko products in the near future.
