We believe the men's line will be out on a limited basis in early 1998. The women's line should be rolled out by the end of 1998.

Q: Why is the men's casual line debuting before the women's line?

Based on our research, the women's line poses additional challenges, and we will not put a product in the field without knowing it is functional with the shoes and activities for which it was designed.

The Institute For Preventive Foot Health

Next steps: Preventive Foot Health "Embedded" Within Preventive Health As A Lifestyle.
My vision for "More Life" extends far beyond the world's best socks. We are in the process of establishing an Institute that will be solely dedicated to doing primary research and education that improves preventive foot health that, in turn, improves the overall quality of people's lives

The Institute for Preventive Foot Health (IPFH) also exists to promote awareness for the need of preventive foot health as a key to Preventive Health and long-term quality of human life.
The need for the Institute arises from the recognition that overall quality of human life is directly related to people's capacity to be mobile - which is directly related to the condition of their feet. The need for the Institute also arises from the realization that the human foot in industrialized society undergoes a process of normal degradation over the course of a lifetime. And finally, the need for the Institute derives from the significant lack of awareness of proper preventive foot health practices among the medical community and the general population.

Specific Activities And Initiatives Of The IPFH Will Include:

• Creating awareness and educating the general populace about the nature of, the need for, and the benefits of preventive foot health.

• Conducting research through three internationally renowned centers.

• Promoting initiatives, which enhance awareness of effective preventive foot health practices and procedures in the medical and professional communities.
