The Map Page Is A GPs Position Plotting Map

The Map Page Above, Is Shown With The Extra Location Information Of Places Loaded In From The Optional GARMIN MapSource™ Points of Interest CD-ROM.

Each "Point of Interest" Is Presented As The Name Of The Location And An Icon, Representing The Location.

Displays Direction As Computed By The System's Software Based On The Current Received GPS Data.

While The User Is In Motion, This Screen Will Display That Computed Motion Based On Received GPS Data.

This Is Not An Electronic Compass!

This Feature Does Not Work Like A Compass And Is Not Intended To Be A Compass.

All GPS Users Must Carry A Precision Compass For Primary Navigation.  We Highly Recommend Using A Precision Compass Designed With UTM Roamer Scales That Enhance GPS Use For Navigation Aid Application.
