Super-sharp Titanum knives are lightweight (40% lighter than
stainless steel cutlery) and well balanced with an
ergonomically designed handle to reduce fatigue during
tedious and repetitious cutting chores. Titanum's
revolutionary titanium alloy composition allows the blade to
stay sharp up to six times longer than conventional cutlery.
The titanium blades are flexible and once sharpening is
necessary, the edge is easily honed on a normal sharpening
steel. Titanum blades will never rust, even in solutions like
salt, vinegar and water. The bacteria resistant nature of
titanium makes Titanum knives less likely to contribute to
cross-contamination of bacteria including salmonella, staph
and strands of E.coli, within six hours of contact. Oval
indentations along the side of the blade create air pockets on
the cutting surface and allow for effortless slicing as food
glides right off the blade.
