THese Are The Highest Quality maps Available For The BWCAW McKenzie map products offered, are of the finest quality. McKenzie Maps have gone through an extensive production process to bring the absolute best in wilderness mapping. Maps include portages, water depth lines, topographic details, campsite, trails, UTM navigation information for GPS users, and many other details, to make navigation easier, and more efficient. A Map Updating Process Has Recently Begun, to bring them into the new century. The newly produced maps feature hill shading, and full color printing, while still giving you the McKenzie Maps quality, and the tried and true features of a rugged outdoor map. The new maps are waterproof, and are printed on nearly indestructible synthetic paper. The maps are highly detailed, using a unique 2"=1 mile scale; with each map covering approximately 144 square miles. The larger 2" scale is the most detailed and easiest outdoor map available. The maps have been reviewed by Park Officials, U.S. Forestry Service officials, DNR officials, guides, outfitters, and resort owners for accuracy, ensuring a safe and relaxing time in the outdoors. This map shows both the BWCA and Quetico Park and is ideal for trip planning or Proudly Display On Your Wall As A Display Of Your Personal Accomplishment, or Souvenir. The maps are printed in full color with hill shading to emphasize elevations. ALL MAPS are printed on high quality, rugged, waterproof plastic paper to endure rough outdoor conditions. Our highly detailed maps are 25" x 30" at a scale of 1:31680, approximately 2" = 1 mile, and cover an area approximately 144 square miles.
