Ground
Trac®
In
metal detecting, it is very important that the
detector
is calibrated for the particular soil conditions that
you are hunting. This allows the detector to
discriminate the difference between the soil and a
target. Bounty Hunter metal detectors come with the
Ground Trac®. This feature automatically balances the
machine to the soil conditions.

LCD Display
The LCD target
readout will display the probable type of metal being
targeted and what denomination of coins are detected.
The denomination of coins are also symbols for many
other types of metal that are in the same detection
range.
Depth
LCD Display
The depth indication dial is
located at the top right of the LCD panel. Each number
represents inches (2 -10 inches). The depth arrow will
lock on and emit simultaneously with the target
identification. Usually when the depth hits 10 inches,
the target identification will emit an arrow under
deep target.
No Motion
Detection
No-Motion All-Metal Detected mode,
is when no movement of the searchcoil is required to
detect a metal object below the searchcoil. This mode
is very useful for pin-pointing the detected object
more precisely and also can be used to give an
indication of size and/or the objects shape.
Manual Ground Balance
Manual Ground
Balance gives the user the ability to fine tune the
detector to ignore the bad effects mineralized ground
has on its detection capability.
This feature is
most needed when searching for valued gold nuggets.
Gold nuggets are extremely rare on Earth and are
prized as natural rare finds. Gold nuggets hold a much
higher value than market gold; market gold is nothing
more than raw processed bar gold. Most gold nuggets
found on Earth are tiny. Gold is a poor conductor of
electrical current making them difficult to detect
with any detector.
You greatly
increase your chance of detecting gold nuggets, as
well as, deeper buried objects, when the ground
mineral is properly ignored by the metal detector
used.
Sniff -
Detected-Metal Return Signal Sampling
Computer
Technology Design At Its Finest!
Advanced
computer detection analysis, gives this detector the
ability to self program to "beep" or "not to beep" on
any metal alloy it samples. This features comes with
two instant access touch-pad controls, which gives the
user a "accept" or "reject" option. Simply touch
accept or reject and allow the detector to sample
("sniff") the metal. It will then set itself up not to
beep or beep on that metal alloy.
