The Bounty Hunter Land Star, By First Texas, Is Designed to be effective in all areas of treasure hunting.  Coin-shooting, relic hunting, and gold nugget detecting are some of the many ways this model can be utilized.

The Land Star metal detector has more leading high-performance trash metal target ID and Notch Discrimination features than other detectors costing far more! The Land star breaks new ground in precision engineering and ease of use. This model is very easy to use and learn. It uses the unique Bounty D-Tech 8" open-face searchcoil for powerful sounding, teamed with advanced microprocessor electronics for accuracy and control. The Land Star uses large multi-function dual LCD readouts and intuitive touchpad controls.

With a microprocessor computer at the heart of the machine, Land Star can work as a relic-hunter, coin hunter, or gold prospecting.

When you are working a park, beach or where ever you find yourself detecting massive amounts of trash pull-tabs and bottle caps, set the Notch Disc to reject the trash items you choose, or let Land star Auto Notch for you. With three-tone Audio Discrimination and unique Ground Trac retune, Land star is a performance treasure hunter detector.

The Land Star is a true higher performance Coin/Jewelry metal detector for park hunting and freshwater beaches. The Land Star can be tuned to ignore iron and hot rocks found in the top soils of our parks and still give maximum detection depth and at the same time give advance NOTCH discrimination combined with standard trash metal discrimination and probable target ID.

Out field tests prove this detector has the ability to tune out the large iron hot rocks we have and still read a nickel pleased on top of the rock. Impressive.

The overall weight of the unit allows for longer periods of search time. I would like to see a hip mount clip added to the housing to make this a top park hunting machine. - Field Testing Specialist.

2) No-Motion All-Metal / DISC Mode - No movement is required to detect a target. The detector emits a signal that gets stronger as the searchcoil gets closer to a metal object. Excellent tool for checking size of buried object and pinpointing the center of the buried signal. Trash metal object  discrimination circuit is available in this mode and fully adjustable.

3)  DISC Motion With Audio allows the user to hunt with three-tone audio target ID.

THREE-TONE DISCRIMINATION classifies detected metal objects into the above 3 categories. Adjust the DISC control higher to increase the range of the low tone. As the DISC/NOTCH control is turned clockwise above the "ALL METAL" indication, Nails and Bottle Caps will no longer be detected while nickel and gold items will still emit a Low Tone
