Round Searchcoils

Searchcoils come in 3 types:

Concentric, Widescan, & Printed Spiral.

Concentric are preferred for discriminating.

Widescan are less affected by ground mineralization.

Printed Spiral, is Tesoro's exclusive technology for their pulse induction Sand Shark detector.

Searchcoil types shown will work with most Tesoro models (except for underwater and gold prospecting machines).

In general, larger searchcoils will give better depth with larger targets and better ground coverage. However, sensitivity to smaller objects may be sacrificed. Smaller searchcoils will offer greater sensitivity to smaller objects and improved target separation in trashy soil.
