CASANOVA'S FIELD TEST - July 2008

Location: Wilderness Wetlands ----- On The Oconomowoc River In The Loew Lake Unit Of The Kettle Moraine Wisconsin State Forest, In The United States Of America.  After Multiple Days Of Heavy Spring And Early Summer Monsoon Rains, The Wetlands That Make Up Most Of This Low Land Forest Area, Was Filled And At A High Water Level For A Long Period Of Time.  This Natural Wetland Wilderness Is Left Alone; Perfect For Mosquitoes To Breed.

This Designation Has Become A Favorite Among Touring Kayakers, Exploring The Creeks Or Just Enjoying The Wilderness Environment.  Our Group Of 6 Casanova Adventures Set Out Paddling North, Up River With Kayaks And A Canoe.  We All Started The Day Without Any Bug Protection.  We Paddled For About 3 Miles To Loew Lake.  I Took A Side Exploration Up A Narrow Overgrown Creek That Connects To The River.  The Entire Route Was Festering In Healthy Biting Mosquitoes.  I Eventually Met Up With Our Group Floating Near The Center Of The Lake Enjoying Lunch; Away From The Biting Flies And Mosquitoes, Do To A Nice Westerly Breeze And being in The Middle Of The Lake.  After Our Lunch Brake, We Headed To The North Shore Where Our Upriver Exploration Continued.  This Also Was A Narrow And Overgrown Area Where Biting Insects Started To Feast On All Of Us.... The Waterway Was Very Narrow With Dense Trees Creating A Natural Shading Canopy.  I Quickly Got Out The NUTRI SHIELD And Missed It Over My Arms, Back, Legs, Then Onto My Hands.... I Wipped My Face And Neck With My Hands.  Instantly The Bugs Stopped Landing On Me.  I Quickly Handed Off The Bottle.
