An essential accessory for imaging with any brand of CCD imager or for astrophotography with a 35mm camera.

The working design:

1. Set the image in the telescope

Flip the Flip-Mirror System's mirror down, then center the image in the field of view while viewing it through your installed eyepiece at a 90? angle offset; this is referred as "thought he lens viewing" with  photography equipment.

2. Capture the image

Flip the telescope's mirror "up" to allow the image light to pass through to the Autoguider/Imager or Attached Camera's film plane.

Each Flip-Mirror System Includes:

• Precision optical-flat Pyrex mirror

• 2-axis mirror-adjustment screws and locks for precise image centering

• Extra-Fine Helicoid Focusing Of The Eyepiece

• Extension Tubes For Attaching Either 35mm T-Mount camera, or CCD Imager (using either T-Threads or 1.25" Barrel).

The Filp-Mirror System threads onto the rear of all Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. The system may remain in place and used in place of diagonal prism for visual observing as well.
