Three-Season Tents

Spring, Summer & Fall

These tents are designed for use in Spring, Summer and Fall, when you're likely to need shelter from rain, moderate winds and insects; and need good ventilation in warm weather.  Often light weight is your biggest concern, so Sierra Designs designers choose lighter materials and construction for these tents, without compromising strength or quality.   Many of these tents feature new, patented Stash Door that stuffs easily into an internally mounted pocket.

Convertible Seasons

With sealable ventilation panels, removable pole sections and storm doors, and strong, lightweight construction, these tents handle a variety of conditions to move from season to season with ease. They're strong enough to withstand winter weather yet light enough to take backpacking. And they feature enough ventilation through windows or ceiling panels to keep you comfortable in warm weather. The Alpha and Omega feature our patent-pending ShoK-Certs? which allow you to leave pole sections at home and lighten your load in fair weather.   All Convertible tents feature both solid and mesh doors and new, patented removable Stash Door? that stuffs easily into an internally mounted pocket.  For extra stability, you can outfit these tents with our optional Internal Guy Kit.

Four-Season Tents

Sierra Designs engineers designed these tents to withstand the harshest conditions of winter and high altitude expeditions.  They will stand up to strong winds and shed heavy snow loads.   They feature both solid and mesh doors, patented Stash Door, and spacious vestibules.   Their flysheets are brightly colored so that you can find your tent in less-than-perfect conditions.   For extra stability, many of Sierra Designs Four-Season tents are equipped with Arch Support Technology and can be outfitted with our optional Internal Guy Kit.
