Kayaking Paddle Technology

The Camano is one of the world's most popular paddles for a low-angle paddling style.  With its mid-sized blades, it offers the best balance of light swing weight and smooth forward strokes. Sized between the smaller Little Dipper and the larger San Juan, this is the paddle that is best suited for the widest range of paddlers.

Small shaft option is available. To know if you need a small diameter shaft, measure your hand from the base of the palm to the tip of your middle finger. If you measurement is 6 1/4" or smaller you should try a small shaft. You can also print the "Shaft Diameter Print Out" in the Links section and use it to measure your hand.
